5 Easy Habits To Improve Your Health and Mood

I guess your life’s been busy lately, right?

Between meetings, deadlines, and the occasional (home) office drama, it can be tough to find time to work out. And even though we always preach working out at least 3 times per week here’s a quick reminder that a little movement can go a long way.

So let’s forget about strength and cardio workouts for a bit. Just a few simple tweaks to your daily routine can make a big difference already.

Here are a few ideas that will improve your health and well-being significantly, while costing you (almost) no extra time:

  • Take the stairs.
It’s a small thing, but every little bit helps.
  • Walk whenever you can.
If you can reach it in less than 30 minutes, walk there.
  • Add movement snacks.
Take a quick break every hour to do a few deep squats, lunges, or any move that feels good.
  • Start your day right.
Begin each morning with a 5 to 10-minute mobility routine.
  • End your day with a relaxing walk.
That dosen’t just burn calories but is a great way to reflect on your day and reduce stress.

When life gets busy, working out is not always a priority. I know that from my own experience. Still, the more I move, the better I feel. And I know it’s the same for you too. Because that’s just how the human body works. It’s designed to move (a lot!).

I like to see movement as a tool. It helps us concentrate, reduces stress, and boosts our mood. So let’s get and keep moving! Your body (and your mind) will thank you.
